We would like to welcome you to Audio Recovery, a place for your complete hearing health needs. Your initial consultation will take about an hour. The audiologist will discuss and recommend the type of hearing aids that would be appropriate for your specific hearing needs. During this appointment you will have an opportunity to have the hearing aids demonstrated. This will help you recognize what type of benefit you could get from the hearing aids. If you choose to order hearing aids at this time, there will be a $150 non-refundable fitting fee at the end of the appointment.
The hearing aids are usually delivered within 3 to 7 days after you order. If you need an ear mold, however, it may take up to 2 weeks before we can fit you with the new hearing aids. You will be scheduled to return for a one-hour appointment for the hearing aid programming and fitting. This appointment will begin a 30-day assessment period. This assessment will help you evaluate the benefit of the hearing aids in your everyday life. The assessment period also gives you valuable time to adjust to the hearing aids. During this time, follow up appointments will be scheduled with the audiologist to make any adjustments to your settings if needed.
There are two options available for payment. This will need to be decided before the hearing aids can be ordered. If you are unable to benefit from the hearing instruments and return them in good condition within the assessment period, you will be refunded all money paid except for the $150 non-refundable fitting fee.
Payment Option One – payment is due in full when you are fitted with the hearing aids. The benefit of this option is that you will receive a free charger for rechargeable hearing aids or a two-year supply of batteries for traditional hearing aids.
Payment Option Two – payment can be financed through a loan program with the Oklahoma Assistive Technology Foundation (OkAT) or through CareCredit.
OkAT has partnered with us to offer our Oklahoma patients financing for their hearing aids. After the OkAT funds arrive, the hearing aids will be ordered. You will be fit at that time and will also be eligible for a free charger for rechargeable hearing aids or a two-year supply the batteries for traditional hearing aids.
We accept CareCredit, a credit card for health-related expenses, including hearing services, hearing tests and hearing aids. CareCredit allows you to pay for expenses not covered by health insurance using special financing.
